French Affaire, Stony Stratford

French Affaire is one of my favourite spots in Milton Keynes and it’s one that is gaining so much popularity. Tucked behind Stony’s high street in Odell’s Yard, this little café serves up some seriously good food in an absolutely gorgeous setting! I’ve featured French Affaire in my guide to the most Instagrammable locations in MK and I’m sure you can see why!

The pastel interior, rose gold cutlery and beautifully presented food make this the ultimate destination for brunch with the girls. The food most definitely isn’t style over substance either: The eggs royale crépe is my go-to and is a filled cheese and salmon crépe topped with hollandaise sauce and a poached egg. Definitely worth a visit. Make sure you check out their evening menu too!

Fourth & Fifth, Central Milton Keynes

It’s no secret that Central Milton Keynes is pretty saturated with chains so you might think that finding an independent brunch spot might be tricky. Fourth & Fifth at Witan Studios is a breath of fresh air, bringing a funky, NYC inspired vibe to Milton Keynes.

The full English isn’t the best but if you love pancakes, I’d recommend the American pancake stack topped with yoghurt and fresh berries. Because Bogota is their sister café, (check out my coffee shop guide) the coffee is by far the best in MK!

Cost: £

Find it: Witan Studios, 280 Witan Gate West, Milton Keynes MK9 1EJ

Bottomless Brunch Option? Yes – available 7 days a week until close. £30 per person, includes a choice of breakfast/brunch option, pastry and unlimited prosecco/mimosa/juice/coffee/tea. The table time limit is 90 minutes.

The Greedy Italian, Fenny Stratford

The Greedy Italian is one of my favourite restaurants in Milton Keynes. In fact, it’s probably the number one recommendation I give people. It has already featured in my best restaurants for date night guide for its lovely atmosphere and epic food and now I’m bringing it to you as one my favourite brunches in Milton Keynes!

From a full English to pancakes to fancy eggs on toast and mouth-watering specials, you will absolutely find something you fancy for breakfast. The food here is seriously good and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients and everything is truly made with love! Pictured above is the vegetarian alarm clock which I didn’t make very vegetarian with the addition of bacon! They also let you order extra hash browns with your breakfast dish – sorry not sorry – so this is just another reason why The Greedy Italian wins at brunch.

The Greedy Italian also offers a bottomless brunch every Saturday from 12pm. It is £28 per person which includes two courses and unlimited prosecco or peroni.

Cost: £ – ££

Find it: 79 Victoria Rd, Bletchley, Milton Keynes MK2 2NZ

Nonna’s, Woburn Sands

Nonna’s is one of my favourite restaurants in Milton Keynes and it’s my go-to if I am looking for somewhere a little classier for dinner or a date night – the food is honestly amazing and Damien is such an innovative chef. It offers one of the best brunches in Milton Keynes (as certified by MKFM!)

My favourite dish is the Italian Benedict which is a twist on a brunch classic. Proscuitto ham, poached eggs and basil hollandaise top toasted sourdough bread. Oh, and did I mention they also have halloumi fries on the brunch menu? Winning!

Cost: ££

Find it: The Square, Woburn Sands, Milton Keynes MK17 8SY

Bottomless Brunch Option? Yes. Available on weekends. £20 per person for unlimited prosecco or Moretti (add on to brunch menu)

Olé Tapas Bar & Restaurant, Wolverton

Olé Tapas Bar & Restaurant has already featured in my Date Night guide for its epic tapas and is definitely one of the best spots in the area. They also serve a damn good brunch! You can find everything from a full English to eggs benedict with a Spanish twist. We were recommended the sharing brunch by Juan and as you can see, it’s pretty epic!

For £19.95 you get a Spanish twist on the full English served in a paella dish. Four rashers of bacon, two fried eggs, two sausages,m two chorizo, potatoes, Padron peppers, mushrooms, beans and black pudding plus sourdough bread. AND BREATHE. Yep, it’s epic but it is perfect for sharing! This little spot in Wolverton is definitely worth a visit – you won’t be disappointed.

Super Sausage, Towcester

The Super Sausage on the A5 between Stony Stratford and Towcester is the ultimate greasy spoon. There’s nothing fancy about it, but it’s what makes it full of character. This biker pit stop cafe is everything you probably want on a hangover. Strong tea, huge fry ups for under £8 and pints of freshly squeezed orange juice. I wouldn’t recommend heading here every day – one meal is enough to clog your arteries, but it’s such a solid fry up and has a very worthy place amongst the best brunches in Milton Keynes.

Cost: £

Find It: 35 Watling St, Potterspury, Towcester NN12 7QD

Bottomless Brunch option? No.

Whisk Kitchen

The Whisk Kitchen in Woburn Sands is a brunch spot-cocktail bar hybrid serving pancakes and cocktails all day. What could be better!? You can pick and mix your toppings on your crepes and there is plenty whether you like sweet or savoury. Salmon and poached eggs is a classic for me and the pancakes are PACKED with filling!

I’ve yet to try the cocktails, but the range is extensive and there is a fabulous range of delicious juices on offer too if you’re visiting on a hangover…!

Cost: £

Find it: 51 High St, Woburn Sands, Milton Keynes MK17 8QY

Bottomless Brunch Option? No, but there are plenty of cocktails on the all day menu if you want to make it a boozy brunch!

Wrap it & Run, Wolverton

Wrap it & Run is a breakfast wrap delivery service run by husband and wife team, Gemma and Joe, in Wolverton. Using fresh, high-quality ingredients and local producers, these wraps are the perfect accompaniment to a lazy weekend or for blitzing that hangover. The wraps are so delicious and are full to the brim without being soggy.

I would recommend the Big Boss wrap or, if you’re feeling really hungry, the Bog Daddy Boss Wrap! Each order comes with a bottle of fruit juice and you can order extras like hashbrowns or add Reasons to Season sauces. You can order via Facebook or their website and delivery is available within a 5-mile radius of Wolverton or you can collect your wraps.

Cost: £

Find it: Wolverton (Delivery or collection)

Bottomless Brunch Option? No as it’s a takeaway but there’s nothing stopping you from creating it at home!

As with all my MK Food Guides, this brunch guide will be added to as I discover more amazing independent locations. Make sure you send me your recommendations too!
