You might have noticed that Midsummer Place (AKA The New Bit) in Central Milton Keynes has had a little bit of a makeover.
To celebrate the official opening of the newly refurbished Boulevard, they are throwing a Big Boulevard Bash on Saturday 2nd September. The event will feature food stalls, entertainment, music, magic, face-painting, crafts and much more.
In this blog post, I’ll be giving you the lowdown on the new vendors and what you can expect. at the event.
What’s new?
A selection of brand NEW independent food vendors are now open at Midsummer Place.
- Pandawoo – Bao buns and Asian-inspired dishes
- Jerk n Rum – Caribbean and Jerk
- Butterwick Bakery – Sweet treats
You can also discover other brilliant indie vendors including Lebanese Grill House, Souv-lucky Day and Churros Locos.
The Big Boulevard Bash
The event is taking place from 11am-5pm, although the market will be open from 9:30am-6pm.
The food stalls will be open and you can also browse a local produce market with some great local vendors.
There will also be magic shows and face painting throughout the day so this is a great event to attend for the family.
It’s free to attend and is a great way to round off the summer holidays! Come on down and rediscover Midsummer Place.
