Hands up who loves wings? Wings in Milton Keynes were pretty difficult to find but thankfully, over the past year or so there has been an explosion in places to get your hands on chicken wings. This is very pleasing to me as they’re one of my favourite things to grab for fast food or a dirty takeaway. I thought it was high time that I create a guide to places to get wings in Milton Keynes. In this guide, you’ll find a mixture of takeaway and dine in destinations for wings.

Binn Smokehouse
The original Binn Smokehouse opened in Buckingham a few years ago and is one of our favourite places for a big feast. Recently, they opened a new restaurant in Hockliffe, just off the A5 near Leighton Buzzard. Both venues have a similar menu and do an incredible Wing Wednesday deal, where for £9.99 per person, you can indulge in UNLIMITED wings and mac n’ cheese! The wings are really tasty – nicely battered, crisp with tender meat inside. You can choose from four flavours: Sticky soy, Buffalo, BBQ or sweet and sour. My favourite was sticky soy and buffalo. Great for big eaters and groups of pals!

Five Ahki’s
Five Ahki’s does one of my favourite burgers in Milton Keynes – The Juicy Lucy – but the wings are pretty good too. The wings are lightly battered and tossed in sauce. We like the garlic and honey wings.

Gourmet Burger Joint
Another burger joint that offers wings, Gourmet Burger Joint in Newport Pagnell has a decent wing menu on offer. The sweet and smokey BBQ wings have a great flavour, and if you aren’t a fan of battered wings, these are for you as they are just grilled and tossed in sauce.

Kings Comfort Food
Kings Comfort Food does the best fried chicken in all the land and the wings are no exception! Choose from Lemon Pepper, Louisiana, Texas BBQ, extra hot Nashville or vegan cauliflower wings. The lemon and pepper are actually one of my favourite wing flavours as it lets the tenderness and flavour of the meat shiiiine through. These wings are crisp and tender and all kinds of delicious!

They have an exception vegan offering as well as meat, and there’s boneless, so no one misses out. Whether you like it spicy or not, there’s something for you but these guys are BIG on flavours. Wingers
Wingers is another favourite of ours and our usual go-to when we want a wing delivery or takeaway. The wings are huge and the sauce flavours are incredible. They are crisp and juicy. Wing Kingz
MK’s newest wing destination is Wing Kingz in Xscape. It’s a sports bar as well as a restaurant, so there are lots of screens inside showing various sports matches. (If you aren’t into sports or have kids, go earlier in the day) The wings were flavoursome and I love how you can make them totally your own by choosing your style of wing – buttermilk, grilled, boneless or vegan. Then you choose your sauce and your dips. The boneless with Prince Buffalo sauce was probably our favourite of the selection we tried. The loaded cheesy fries are worth a go too!

They’re back for 2021 and are releasing their wing packages again in time for Superbowl Sunday, so don’t miss out on that!
