Yoga is the ultimate path to wellness and mindfulness and it’s something I practice in my own self-care routines. I was thrilled to hear from Sally at Access Yoga who provides accessible yoga to those who might feel that yoga isn’t for them. Her live and on-demand classes help you connect with your breath and body, enabling you to feel empowered to move in a way that suits your body while having fun. She often uses music in her classes helping you to focus and bringing a different dimension to the classes.
Access Yoga offers a monthly subscription for £18 a month which gives you access to yoga classes, on-demand classes, discounts for events and candles, and invited to community spaces. Sally also makes gorgeous essential soy wax candles which make the perfect accompaniment to your yoga practice and great gifts too.
Book classes and shop candles on Access Yoga’s website.

They have a wide range of high-quality formulas and will select the perfect plant ingredients to target your specific skin concerns.
Piece and Quiet
Piece and Quiet are on a mission to help people discover new ways to relax and unwind. They partner with talented local artists to create stunning art jigsaw puzzles worthy of framing. Each artist receives a share of each puzzle sale, and every puzzle comes in a cotton tote bag along with an artist spotlight card detailing their inspiration for the piece. Personally, I love a jigsaw puzzle and I love that Piece and Quiet are changing people’s perceptions of what a jigsaw puzzle can look like with British GQ describing us as ‘making puzzles cool again’. The puzzles are also made in the UK and plastic-free.
New for Christmas is ‘Winter Wanderland’ by Bea Muller (£29.99) which presents a magical winter scene, snow underfoot as the dogs dance through the forest. In Bea’s trademark teal and pink tones, this artwork gives you a sense of calm and cosiness – that feeling on a brisk evening where you’re all wrapped up and warm as you wander amongst your favourite local surroundings. This art jigsaw puzzle for adults is designed to help you take some much needed time for yourself, so grab a hot drink, get cosy and get puzzling.
Shop Piece and Quiet puzzles via their website. Matching soy wax candles are also available, making the perfect mindful Christmas gift!
The Slow Down Collective
The Slow Down Collective is for anyone who craves a slower pace to life and I am a big fan of their boxes. They feature beautiful products from small businesses that inspire you to slow down and reconnect with yourself.
With an option to purchase as a one-off or to subscribe, these curated boxes bring little moments of calm for people with busy lives and busy minds. Created in collaboration with experts, the thoughtfully-designed collections can help relieve stress, anxiety and overwhelm in everyday life. For Christmas, discover the Cosy Calm Box (£50) the ultimate cosy collection for calm moments this winter.
Soothe & Facilité
Amelia is a fully licensed qualified massage therapist and business owner of Soothe & Facilité. Massage therapy has always been a passion and she previously worked at The Spa at the Mandarin Oriental, London. She tailors each massage treatment to people’s specific needs and can assist in injury rehabilitation, muscle maintenance and holistic wellness. Whether you are preparing for that next marathon or needing to unwind and recharge, Soothe & Facilité has you covered and a voucher would make the perfect gift for someone who needs to take a moment for themselves.
Tea Lab Company
Tea Lab is an independent, British tea brand that marries the art and science of tea. They are one of my favourite local businesses, and I have followed their journey for several years. They offer sustainable, natural and organic loose leaf teas with great taste and innovation, perfect for accompanying some time out.
The test tube gift box (£17.50) makes a great gift and contains five test tubes of loose leaf tea of your choice. Each test tube makes 2-3 cups of tea. This gift box also comes with 10 eco fillable tea bags and a gift note.
Tres Paper Co.
Tres Paper Co. makes thoughtful journals, greeting cards and stationery for moments of delight. All products are designed in house and printed in the UK using sustainably sourced materials.
I love to journal, it’s a great way to slow down my thoughts, so this personalised notebook (£9.50) would make a great gift for someone similar! An FSC-certified A5 rainbow notebook can be personalised with the text of your choice on the cover. Perfect for a gift to a loved one, a colleague or yourself.
Shop the notebook and more stationery by visiting Tres Paper Co’s website or find selected products at The Indie Co. in Midsummer Place, Central Milton Keynes.
