Three delicious ways to serve Bucks Brothers Gin Limone | AD

This is a paid partnership with Bucks Brothers Gin.

In recent years, there has been a boom in independent gin brands. As a self-confessed gin lover, I love discovering fun and fresh new indies coming to the gin scene. One of the new kids on the block is Bucks Brothers Gin, a brand owned by three brothers, Max, Jake and Gus. They launched in June 2020 and since then have taken everyone by storm. The brand is inspired by their passion for life, family ethos and enthusiasm for great gin. They started off with a classic Buckinghamshire dry gin, and have since added three more to the range: Sloe & Pomegranate, Navy Strength and Gin Limone, the latter being their latest addition.

I am thrilled to introduce you to the latest launch, Gin Limone. In this blog post, you’ll find out a bit more about this zesty gin (which is very me!) and I’m sharing three G&T recipes that will get your taste buds tingling!

Bucks Brothers Gin Limone

Ever a lover of yellow, Gin Limone is sealed with yellow wax and Bucks Brothers’ signature stamp on top which will make this an easy one to find on the gin trolley! Gin Limone is not just a flavoured lemon gin – it’s a clean, fresh gin with a sweet finish on the palette thanks to the citrus. The botanicals are inspired by the Amalfi coast and the famous lemons of Sorrento so this is truly a great option for those summer garden parties we can now embrace.

I absolutely love a classic juniper gin and there is enough of that in Gin Limone to make this a very drinkable gin. As with any gin, there is a ‘right way’ to serve it based on the botanicals but with Gin Limone you can have a bit of fun. Here are three delicious ways to serve it.

Three ways to serve Bucks Brothers Gin Limone

The Classic

This is a clean and simple gin and tonic best for an aperitif or after-dinner drink in the garden. I like using Mediterranean tonic with Gin Limone as it complements the citrus notes better than Indian tonic water, which can be a bit sharp. Keep things simple and garnish it with lemon or cucumber, juniper berries and a sprig of mint.

Elderflower & Rose

Elderflower tonic is a great way to add a little sweetness and floral notes to your G&T without compromising the flavour of the gin. If you find Gin Limone a little too zesty on the palette, this is a delightful way to serve it! I’ve garnished it with lemon and rose petals, though you could use cucumber too.

Cloudy Lemonade

If you REALLY love lemon (like me!), Gin Limone is amazing paired with cloudy lemonade. I can’t wait to make this again when the weather is actually hot. I’ve used Double Dutch cloudy lemonade here because it’s not too sweet. This one is best served in a tall glass with plenty of ice. I think raspberries and a sprig of rosemary go nicely with this to add a little colour, sweetness and aroma! This also a great option if you’re not a big fan of tonic.

Where to buy Bucks Brothers Gin
