With spring truly on its way at the moment, I've had a sort through of my make up and out aside the darker wintry shades of berry and plum and pulled out lighter bases and coral colours. I haven't used any foundation in this, just a bit of Bourjois' Healthy Mix concealer where I needed it. For my eyes I used Bourjois Cream Eyeshadow all over the eye lid and then worked Naked 2 from Naked Basics into the crease before lining my eyes with my favourite gel liner from L'oreal. I didn't do a thick heavy line, I kept it quite thin to lighten the look. Bourjois' Java Rice Powder is perfect for lighter bases as it contains light reflecting particles to help the skin look illuminated and awake. It sets the make up without looking too cakey. On my cheeks I used Bourjois' Cream blush in 02 Healthy Glow (I love Bourjois at the moment, can you tell??) I love cream blushers for the spring and summer as you can make the colour a lot more subtle and natural.
To keep the coral theme going I've used Revlon's Lovers Coral on my lips. It's a gorgeous sheer colour with a slightly shimmery finish - it's something I wouldn't normally go for but I picked out for a spring face. It's an ideal every day colour.
How have you spring cleaned your make up?
