no7 gift alert!

Oh hello, is that another freebie I see? That's right, No7 have got a free gift again! My Mum always gets these when they're available because she used No7 all the time, but I never do because I never spend £25 on No7. However, this time you only need to buy two cosmetics from the range to grab your gift. I bought a felt tip eye liner and smoothing brightening eye base, both of which I am loving and both were things that needed replacing.
The 'Ballerina Purse' is a gorgeous baby pink clutch wrapped in black ribbon. I'll probably use this as a make up bag for my handbag as it's very compact. Inside you get four No7 products; Protect & Perfect Intense Day Cream, Extreme Length Mascara, Moisture Drench Lipstick in 'Mulberry' and Single eye shadow in 'Forest Fruits'. The Day cream and mascara are both mini versions of the full size products, but the eye shadow and lipstick are full size, with the lipstick being worth £9.50 on it's own!
The eye shadow is a beautiful smokey lilac colour that I've been enjoying wearing everyday with a chestnut colour blended into the crease for a fresher smokey eye for day wear. It has a lovely smooth formula that blends effortlessy across the eye lid for flawless application. Paired with the eye base, it lasts all day.
The lipstick is certainly something to get excited about. I remember trying the No7 lipsticks a few years ago and not being impressed, but they've revamped their packaging and definitely their formulas! The moisture drench lipstick is a highly pigmented colour with the added moisturisation of a balm so as not to dry the lips out. It's the perfect every day shade being almost plum with a hint of brown.
It all adds up to about £25 worth, so it's definitely worth getting if you need a few new make up bits and pieces. The purse is pretty too and the smaller size day cream and mascara are perfect sizes for travelling. I love the lipstick a lot so will do a review and swatch post of this soon.
