read my post yesterday, you'll remember it started with a rant about sale shopping. So what have I got for you today? A haul of things from the sales! Totally contradicting myself here, apologies all round. I didn't go out and intend to buy these things, I had a spare hour after work so went on a mooch around the city centre, which was, absolutely humming with crazy shoppers. I didn't go in all shops, just ones that weren't exploding with people. I also sat online last night browsing the Topshop website and ordered some things which should come tomorrow, so I thought I'd show you them too!
This set was actually on my Christmas wishlist but Santa didn't bring me it. I was hoping they would have some more gift sets from Benefit but the woman at the counter in Debenhams said they sold out in 15 minutes yesterday! I decided to go for it though, as it's amazing value (A full size gloss costs £13.50 alone!). I'm getting into lip glosses more and the Benefit ones look perfect for me. Each one matches one of Benefit's famous box o' powders. My favourites are Bella Bamba and Coralista so far! I will do a review on this, swatching each one individually. Very very happy with this!!
I was absolutely amazed when I walked into LUSH and they had a load of Snow Fairy's left! Lush's gift sets sold out in 4 minutes yesterday, so I was so happy to grab myself two more bottles of this happiness in a bottle. I LOVE the Snow Fairy scent, and I'm chuffed to bits that these were half price and I managed to get my hands on them. Let the snow fairy magic continue long into 2013...
I have been looking for a pair of these for a long long long time. The Primark ones look way too flimsy, and the Topshop ones are way too expensive! I was so happy when I found these in Zara! They are a size 7 (I'm usually a size 6) but with my orthotics in them, they are perfect. I'm going to wear these to death, but for just under a tenner, I am very pleased indeed.
The Midi dress was a bit of a yolo purchase. I love them, so I decided to buy one to see how I got on. I've already got loads of ideas on how I'm going to style it. I'm thinking my biker jacket, ankle boots and a long necklace? I can dress this up or down and it's a gorgeous colour and I can wear it with a skinny belt too. I think because I'm tall this should look okay, but I'll see how I get on!
The burgundy basic sweater wasn't in the sale either, but it's such a pretty colour and it will be so good for wearing with skinny jeans/disco pants and too school. I bought it in the next size up so it will be really baggy and cushty. I think I might put some studs on the shoulders of this too! It wasn't too bad pricewise for Topshop either.
My two sale picks were the Boucle sweater which is like a beigey cream colour with coloured fleck in it, and the basic hoodie. The sweater was basically half price and I think it might be okay to wear over the midi dress, as well as with jeans for everyday etc. I really needed a cosy hoodie and I'd seen these ones pre-sale, and couldn't justify paying out over £20 for one I'll just slouch in. £15 is more stomachable and I love the colour of this. It's a bit of a rip off of the American Apparel ones, but I'm not complaining. My brother told me all the hipsters wear these, lolz.
So there's my very hypocritical haul! To be fair, I didn't venture out to get the Topshop things hehe, sale shopping online is much less stressful and much easier.
Have you been sale shopping yet? What's been your best buy?
